Ebook description
SKINWALKERS tells the story of Perdition, New Mexico, and of the harrowing night its residents are attacked by a pack of rabid coyote-men (skinwalkers). It is a night of extreme horror in which the townspeople must answer for the sins of their past. Many succumb, both to the skinwalkers and to the guilt over their transgressions, while others rise above the desperate circumstances facing them. SKINWALKERS places an Old West spin on the werewolf myth. The novel is a classification-defying rogue piece of work that combines the traditions of George Romero, Sergio Leone, and Stephen King. Interspersed among the chapters of the main narrative are flashback sequences, mock journal entries and articles, and even chapters from a dime novel written by one of the characters from the main tale. These sub-chapters give the greater story context, heightened horror, and even comic relief.
